1) Where’s Watkinsville?
We are located about 8 miles Southeast of Athens, GA.
2) Do you deliver?
Yes we have a ten wheel flatbed truck with a walk behind donkey to and service the area about 150 mile radius of Athens, GA. For a nominal drop fee. (Our sales people also have been know to deliver a thing or two.)
3) Do you do soil tests?
Yes, we use Harris Labs out of Nebraska. They provide the details we need to get the best results for your turf.
4) Can you provide a program or schedule of maintenance for my fields, lawn or golf course?
We can provide a customized guide for your turf needs but remember it’s a guide it takes a watchful eye to prevent and foresee problems that may arise during the course of the year.
5) When is the best time to plant tall fescue, bermudagrass, centipede etc.?
Cool season grasses are best planted in the fall do to less competition with weeds and cooler wet conditions.
Warm season grasses are best planted from April to July when soil temps are above 60 degrees.
